Half-truth...the doctrine of deceit.
They SAY you cannot stop sinning.  PARTIAL Truth.  You CAN'T but WITH the Help, Spirit of God ALL things are possible for you.  Even NOT continuing to Sin...ONCE the Spirit enters, fills the soul dead to God.  To submit to God's Truth...surrender to the Spirit...to obey not resist the Spirit...is Peace with God.

Jehu...GIVEN a kingdom...rule...by God.  Told all coming in front of him, hindering him from his kingdom...told all those...to get out of the way...and GET themselves BEHIND him, follow him into that kingdom.  Jesus the Christ...His Kingdom COME: Satan, get thee behind Me.  It is WISE to make Peace with He given Authority by God, the Ruler come to Gather, TAKE Authority over His people.   What self-led person, what self-ruled person...RULER...at war with, an enemy of the King, God-RULED SOUL...SIT DOWN and FIRST consider, think he can win against the King of Power and Mighty Army...LUKE 14:31.  One king at war...resisting, fighting against another King?  LUKE 12:58, MAKE...EVERY...EFFORT to settle accounts with...GIVE TO Him every obedience due Him, RECONCILE with Him BEFORE time-to is no more, is gone.  Missing the God-Provided OPPORTUNITY to Make Peace with the King of kings, Lord of Lords.

Surrender, follow behind Him...UNDER Him His Spirit.
